Considering the increased violent crime throughout the American culture, personal security, safety, and the ability to personally fend off the threat of bodily harm is on the minds of most citizens. Many Christian fellowships are incorporating training for Christians on what to do in case of a active shooter situation during meetings as well as personal self-defense training.
Scripture teaches us to trust God, pray, always be alert, to discern, and to avoid evil people and risky situations. Despite these precautions, the unimaginable can come upon a faithful Christian. There may not be an avenue of escape and most likely a 911 call will be too late. In these cases, God expects us to defend against bodily harm for ourselves and our loved ones. Learning and being trained in defending our self or a another is a legal right and becoming a very necessary skill in these dark times.
Most self-defense classes are too expensive for the average person and family. Plus, choosing and finding the best self-defense system to learn can be a challenge.
As a fellowship we provide a self-defense and conditioning ministry to those who are serious about becoming prepared to survive an attack and go home alive. There is no set fee, but rather an honorarium based financial support to help MCCF continue to provide this valuable training.
